CALLING ALL NEW BRUNSWICK MAKERS - We want to invite you to participate in The CreatedHere Postcard Exchange. Mail is a wonderful way to foster a personal connection when we can’t be together in person. The CreatedHere Postcard Exchange is an exciting opportunity to cultivate new connections with local makers while brightening up someone’s day!

Have you felt the gratitude of finding handmade mail in your mailbox? Have you experienced the improved wellness that comes with stretching your creative muscles? Our mission with this project is to find new ways for the people of New Brunswick to connect while using art as a means of self-care. We believe that the underrated gesture of sending handmade mail has a timeless quality that could never be replaced by cyberspace.

⬇️Want to participate?
Deadline: May 15, 2020.

1. Create Postcard (or a couple) following the Format instructions - don’t forget to add a stamp.
2. Write your info on a separate sheet of paper (name, home address, email address, social media handles). We will use this information to send you a postcard in return.
3. Send us your postcard & information together by mail by May 15, 2020.
4. When the deadline is over we will send your postcard to a lucky participant and you too will receive one.
5. Last but not least: once you receive your postcard from another artist, share it on social media using the hashtag: #CreatedHerePostcardExchange and don't forget to tag the artist.
6. Tag us too so that we can see and share everyone's wonderful creativity with our community: @createdheremag #CreatedHereNB

⬇️Format:
1. Meet Canada Post postcard standards (9.25” x 4.75” or less).
2. Leave blank space for a receiving address.
3. Try new things, use found material, use old sketchbook papers or maybe even textiles - be innovative with your postcard design(s).
4. To protect your postcard, it's safest to send it to us in an envelope. Especially if there are any dangling or delicate parts.
5. You can choose to be anonymous or to include name/social media handle on your
postcard.
